Description: Vintage Tonka 1957 State Hi-Way Dept Hydrolic Dump Snow Truck. In my opinion, this is one of Tonka’s most iconic trucks of its time. I can only imagine going to the store in the 50s and seeing a shelf full of these. This is an amazing little especially with the snow plow attachment. Yes it does have a hydraulic dump but, other cool features is that not only doesn’t have a swinging tailgate, both sides of the dump bed swing down. The only missing parts that I can see are one of the blue lights on the plow and what looks like a very small dumbbell on the roll bar on the driver side of the dump bed. It does have your normal scratches and scars from heavy play over the years. All wheels turn freely, except there is a little bit of a drag on the rear wheels of the driver side. From the front of the plow to the back of the truck, it measures approximately 16 inches long. Please see all pictures for a better understanding of the condition of this truck. Really kind of have to expect that with toys of this age. I’m a big pressed steel toy fan and I know that this truck would make a really nice addition to any collection.
