Description: Up for sale is a Vintage 1970 Atlanta Falcons Kra-Lite-8 Riddell TK Football Helmet in a size 7 1/8. This is the real deal and not some lamp turned into a helmet. The suspension, facemask, jaw pads and helmet decals are all original(see photos). The 2-bar Riddell BD-9 has a date code of 1971. The back of the helmet has the Riddell and Kra-lite heat stamp through the white stripes on both sides(see photos). The helmet shows use with scuffs and scraps and doesn’t have any player information inside(see photos). The white of the stripes and side decals have yellowed with age and the helmet doesn’t smell(see photos). Also there are darker splotches on the white stripes and white paint transfer on the side decals(see photos) The crown pad is cupping and has dried out over the years(see photos) The facemask is a little dirty and hasn’t been cleaned. The helmet is intended for display purposes only and not to be used. The hat stands in the photos are not included with the sale. Please look over all photos and ask questions prior to purchase. The helmet will be shipped with insurance and signature required. I will not ship to a PO Box for this one.
