Description: This dress was my 101 year old grandmothers although I never saw her wear it. It's blue, the color of a light denim, but it's not denim. It has hand screened owls as per the tag. The dress is in excellent shape. It zips up the back, there is a spot where the thread is not crisp and is loose (see the last picture). There is not a tag that describes the material but it seems consistent with other garments I have that are 65% Poly 35% Cotton. It does not seem like this dress wrinkles easily. This dress is very nicely made. Great care was taken cutting the fabric and sewing it. For that reason I am going to estimate this is from the 60s. The tag says size 10. That's a size 10 from years gone by. I am a size 6 and it fits me perfectly. There is not a lot of give in this material. I have an athletic build and am not busty. It's a fraction to perfect for me. There are darts in the bust area but on someone who is a size 6 that is busty I don't think this dress will fit you. If it helps for me to send pictures more of me in the dress I am happy to do that.
