Description: Up for grabs today is a very interesting piece of Militaria! This hat is definitely an unusual item to say the least! I picked this piece up a few years back because I found it odd and later came to find that certain members of the Sierra Leone Army wore this camo as part of their uniform. It's a commercial Tigerstripe Camouflage for sure and has been tailored into a M1943 pattern style cap just like the ones worn by our servicemen throughout WW2. Very interesting piece with no makers marks of any kind. Super soft worn in cotton Tigerstripe Fabric that does have fading throughout but no other damage to be found. Super short stingy brim and can easily be folded in half to fit under an epaulet or in a jacket pocket,bag etc. Cool bit of Militaria to say the least!
