Vintage Walkie Talkies CB - Lafayette HE 29A and Lafayette HE 100

Description: USA Auction Only - No overseas shipping. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE AUCTION. Selling a huge collection of vintage CB walkie talkies. These are untested - their working condition is unknown. Please bid with this in mind. The above is the first of what is being sold. This collection was obtained over a 50 year period and it's time to pass these radios on to a new collector. Many of these radios have the original boxes and even their accompanying paperwork. However, the pictures posted in this and the upcoming auctions will be just as important as the accompanying descriptions. PLEASE STUDY BOTH THE PICTURES AND THE DESCRIPTIONS AND PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING OR BUYING. WHAT YOU'RE SEEING IN THE PICTURES IS WHAT YOU'RE GETTING. NOTE: These walkie-talkies are very old and quite fragile. THEY ARE UNTESTED! I HAVE NO IDEA WHETHER THEY WORK OR NOT. Therefore, these radios are being sold as collector's items/display and not for every day use. If you want a walkie talkie for every day use, please buy a new walkie talkie. Thank you for your understanding in this. Here are the first of this collection. Lafayette HE-29A and Lafayette HE-100, in fair to good condition overall, with the original boxes and cases (Again, please look at the pictures as my idea of Fair/Good may be different than yours). The boxes are in fair condition and could use some tape to keep the seams together. There is no accompanying paperwork with these radios. What you see in the pictures is what you will receive. NOTE: The Lafayette HE-100's are missing their battery holders. This is displayed in the pictures. The antennas on all radios here appear to extend without breaking however, they are quite fragile. Note that on one of the HE-29A's, one of the antennas does not collapse fully into the walkie-talkie body - I don't know why, but the antenna still extends and collapses back into position. AND HERE'S SOMETHING NEAT! I will include for free, another (MYSTERY) walkie talkie that I will enclose in the shipping box as a gift. Note: this gift walkie-talkie will be in untested condition/no box or paperwork and probably without the case. It may be missing an antenna tip and or have other missing pieces, i.e., no battery holders. Note also that any missing pieces with these additional gift radios will still be otherwise complete externally - and will still make a good display item.
