Description: This is a vintage winter landscape oil painting on stretched canvas, framed in a wood frame. The painting is signed but the signature is illegible. This one-of-a-kind piece, features a realistic country scene measuring 18 inches in length and 15.5 inches in height. Hand painted in oil, this artwork captures a typical country or farm scene. The painting itself is 9 1/2" X 7 1/2" This painting has been in my house since the 1970's but I can't be sure of the date it was painted. I don't know where it came from or the name of the artist. It's in good shape for its age. The beige matt is slightly discolored from age. The frame is some type of lightweight wood which is ornately carved. It's in very good condition for its age. There are a few little nicks and imperfections on the frame which isn't noticeable when hung on the wall.
