Description: This classic porthole ship wheel clock measures 18"Dia. and has a 4” clock face. The size of this item is measured from the end of the handle to the end of the handle on the opposite side. It features a solid wood ship wheel with a beautiful brass porthole clock in the center. The two knobs on the porthole will turn, allowing you to open the clock for cleaning or adjustment. It is running but very temperamental, I replaced the little motor and I believe it is the wrong size with a shaft that is too long, a simple and cheap fix for a clockwise person. (The second hand hits the glass..it runs laying down) The brass has age and patina on it, please see pictures. Very good looking for a boat lover or restaurant decoration.
