Description: VINTAGE ZANFELD .999 SILVER DIPPED TROPICAL IGUANA SCULPTURE TAXCO MEXICO This was purchased on a trip to Mexico, when ZANFELD was a young company. They are located in Taxco and now have a big store and factory. At the time, they were distributing their merchandise through souvenir shops. This was not a limited edition item, they are still manufacturing the same iguana today, at a much higher price. This Tropical Iguana sculpture is made of cast resin through an electroformed process, then coated in .999 pure silver. The silver is sculpted and polished to a high sheen. A small tag is added to the bottom, reading “Zanfeld Plata .999”. It is 7-1/2” long, 2-1/2” high and 5” wide. The sculpture is finely detailed and realistic.
