Description: This is a set of 6 pairs of very beautiful and elegant Vintage/Antique Japanese wooden Chopsticks with a pouch/carrier to store them in, really very pretty. These are done in a Momji Maple light wood with a dark lacquer over them and they have an elegant design don in gold on the upper part of them. 4 of these have a band around them, the 2 middle sets don't , sorry, , also there is a fabric bow/flower that adorns 2 sets done in the same salmon color as the carrier/pouch, this pouch/carrier has an elegant floral like design embroidered on it in the front as well with 6 sewn slots for the chopsticks to be placed in, the back is done in solid black. These are 9 3/4" long, and beautiful. If you collect Vintage/antique Japanese items, than these would be a great addition to your collection, or if you like the use of chopsticks and would like some elegant ones, again, they would be a great addition, even as a gift to someone as well. These were purchased in Yokohama, Japan in the 1970's, they were displayed behind glass and than placed in a footlocker in 1983, they have been there until now, so it's time they have a new home. These have never been used, displayed only, so they are New, even though they are Vintage/antique. They come from a smoke free home.
