The lid is in good condition considering its age and the many years it has been stored with the jar in an upper kitchen cabinet, within a climate controlled and smoke free home. The lid does contain some rust, but still has the original cardboard in the inner part of lid. The red color has held up well over the years. The fact that it is the Economy Size, makes it a rare find in such good condition. I measured with water, that is how I arrived at holding 32 oz. Ideal for display, storage, theatrical/movie/television/museum prop, etc. Jar measures (with lid on) approx. 7 3/8" tall and 3 3/8" across the lid.
