Description: The item for sale is Rare Vintage HERMÈS Pavement by Maurice Tranchant 100% Silk Carre Scarf – Made in France!Up for sale is a rare vintage authentic HERMÈS Pavement 100% Silk Carre scarf. This stunning design was created by Maurice Tranchant in 1970, with this scarf being the latest 2003 reissue. It depicts an amazingly detailed Roman-style mosaic print with various animal creatures. The scarf’s design is an exception to the Hermès rules as it only features the Hermès Paris logo and the copyright, but not the scarf’s title or the artist’s signature. The edges are hand rolled, and the original care tag is attached. Please note that no box is included in the listing.Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition – near mint. The scarf is from my personal collection and is guaranteed to be authentic. It was gently loved, professionally dry cleaned for the sale, and is ready for a new home. The fabric has plenty of body and drapes beautifully, the hand rolled edges are plump and full, and the original care tag is attached. The only imperfections to note are a couple of very faint spots at the border depicted on the last two pictures on the listing. Having said that, may I ask you to please review all pictures on the listing prior to purchasing as they are a part of the description, and I do not accept returns. The fabric has a smooth hand and drapes gorgeously, the care tag is attached, and the hand rolled edges are round and plump. Please note there are a couple of very faint and very hard-to-see pulls at the hand rolled edge, which I tried to depict on the last two pictures on the listing; other than that, the scarf is an amazing condition.
