Here is a blank wood for violin making that he kept for the craft.The actual wood name I am not sure of , please use the photos to see if it works for your application. I have measured the wood in the photos and have taken close up photos of the wood so you can make a decision. Looks as though the Luthier was making a Guarneri del Gesu but had not finished it yet I am no expert so please use the photos to decide. Here is one piece started but incomplete.
