Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....! Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a retired antiques dealer. Lot of 5 matching pieces of older Vista Alegre, the pattern using Asian images, Geishas in a Pastoral landscape. Measuring 7 inches in diameter, I am calling these shallow bowls since they are not flat like a dessert plate but have a shallow indent. All five have survived in overall good used condition free of chips, cracks or cutlery scars. They bear the older VA PORTUGAL back stamp that many collectors consider would classify this lot as semi-antique Vista Alegre. This listing is for 5 matching pieces as a lot.
