Description: Vivarium Electronics Model VE-100 is an economy model. This unit is the lowest priced model of Vivarium Electronics thermostats, and features the bare bones capabilities of the various Vivarium Electronics units. The VE-100 can handle up to 700 watts, and operates in a simple on/off fashion. When the set temperature is exceeded and detected by the probe, the unit turns off. Once the temperature drops a selected amount, the unit will turn your heating devices back on. The VE-100 features include: Convenient table top mounting, Full back-lit display, Displays probe temp and set point on main display, Night Drop capability (Requires ND Module), Remembers settings during power failure, Grounded receptacle designed for outlet strip use, 700 watt capacity with user replaceable fuse (Spare fuse included!), Silent Operation 10' probe cord, user replaceable 6' Power Cord, Stackable! The standard display shows current set point value, current time of day, and the current probe temperature reading. 3 button keyboard makes it ultra easy to navigate through the menu and the large back-lit display makes programming easy and intuitive.
