Description: 1957 Vogue Jill Outfit #7408 Tweed outfit with a very rare slip and panties. The shoes are also very hard to find. The outfit is complete. Jill doll is NOT included. She is a model to show you how the outfit displays. The outfit is in very good displayable condition. The pieces are in really nice shape. The most noticeable flaws. The velvet belt has rub worn spots to see where I am pointing. It's only in areas. The velvet tips on the pieces have very minor edge fray. The shoes have a shiny reddish color in the pattern on the inner soles. Minor fiber pick up to the velvet. The hat elastic is aged however still stays on a doll. Netting is good only minor broken threads from how the tulle is cut in the factory. The coloring on all pieces is bright and clean looking. The satin, velvet, and tweed all display bright. Elastic is good on the pieces but the hat(that is aged). There are very minor age soil spots however very minor and nothing that stands out. Working closures on the pieces. No holes or tears. Satin is still soft. I uploaded 24 photos all taken in natural light so you can see the details. Anything that I consider a flaw is shown. This outfit will display well. It needs to be pressed with some wrinkles from storage. Again the Doll is NOT included, the listing is for the outfit only. I unfortunately had to change my handling time to 4 to 5 business days. I still ship quickly. However, with the current condition of the post office and the slow down of the mail, they are already holding packages for several days without any tracking scan acknowledgments.
