Because the mfg. seals the grips on New Rackets & used rackets with plastic which lasts only about 1 year, we do not guarantee the grips, which can dry out and or stick to the plastic when the plastic seal is removed. We also do not guarantee grips not sealed in plastic (referring to both new or used rackets) and or the grip that may be under the grip or overgrip shown in the photos, as they also can dry out and or deteriorate. Because many of the new (meaning new old stock) & used rackets that we have for sale, were made 5,10,15, or even 20+ years ago, it is possible that certain things will occur as part of the natural aging process that are unavoidable despite that fact that these items are currently stored in a climate controlled environment. These things include (but are not limited to) the following: - the paint can fade, discolor, get sticky/gummy, the paint & or clear coat can start to erode/come off, etc. - the plastic & or rubber grommets can become dried out, brittle & or break usually only to a shorter length (flush with the frame), usually still protecting the string thru the frame. Although the above can and does happen on almost every make and model we have noticed this especially on certain yonex models that are 10-20+ years old. Grommets can almost always be repaired or replaced (even if the grommet is no longer made) using universal grommets from fitrix or using tubing. We guarantee, our reported grip size to be accurate as to how the racket is marked or within 1 grip size.We do our best to report the grip size, (especially when markings are available), but we can not guarantee absolute accuracy, because sometimes a grip size is not marked (or has rubbed off or the label has fallen off), or is no longer easily readable and occasionally the mfg has made a mistake, or it is labeled on the frame as one grip size and is labeled on butt cap or elsewhere as another size. Unfort. grip size is not accurately or easily determined simply by measuring the outside & sometimes it is not easily determined by removing all grips & or buttcap and looking at the inside for markings, since mfg's & model sizes vary slightly, and or the orig grip has been replaced or there is 1 or more overgrips or the original grip has dried and flattened out, etc. Because we stock about 2500 rackets and list about 300 on ebay, it is not possible to detail every aspect of every racket. We therefore take approx 10 pics of each racket showing a current /accurate depiction for your review and assessment.
