Description: The pedals from the VOX VALVENERGY series are extremely versatile, analog preamps for guitar, all of which are equipped with the new Nutube tube technology and thus deliver the sound, response and feel of conventional tube amplifiers. The pedals have three different operating modes for different purposes: as a distortion pedal in front of the amp, as a full-fledged preamp for connection to the return input of an amp or to a power amp connected to guitar cabinets, or completely stand-alone as a preamp with its own cabinet simulation for direct connection to a mixer, PA or DAW. An OLED display is enthroned in the middle of the high-quality metal housing of the pedals, which shows the waveform of the guitar signal passing through in real time and thus also provides visual feedback on the respective sound settings. A particularly clever feature of the series is the newly developed CHANNEL SWITCH function. This makes it possible to connect several pedals from the VALVENERGY series using a separate cable. Once this connection has been established, activating a VALVENERGY pedal automatically deactivates all other VALVENERGY pedals. This simulates channel switching on a multi-channel amp and the sound can be changed with just a single press of a footswitch, which is of course a great advantage, especially when used live. The VALVENERGY MYSTIC EDGE delivers the authentic sound of the legendary AC30 in pedal format for the first time. Just like the original, it is equipped with a 2-band EQ with Tone Cut control and an additional Bright Switch and delivers the full range of popular VOX sounds from sparkling clean to chimey crunch.
