Description: Vintage 1923 Magnavox Model AC2 amplifier with two early Western Electric vacuum tubes - 101F and 102F. Unit is complete and presents quite well, with the original finish simply cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. Tubes are tennis ball style with pip tops and are untested, but there is a small crack in the base of the 101F tube. There is some damage to the two metal coils on the underside - appears that some are missing and others are separating. Magnavox decal on the front is in excellent condition. Great early piece that is a must have for your collection. In order to ensure safe delivery, the tubes and amplifier will be individually boxed and placed inside a larger box for shipping.
