Description: Great 1930’s souvenir plate from New Orleans, Louisiana. Made by Crown Ducal in England for “Coleman E. Adler & Sons Incorporated, Jewelers, New Orleans”. I will be offering the following six plates in the series, the others can be seen in my “other items”. All feature scenes of Old New Orleans in dark purple transferware. In addition to purple, the series came in red, blue, and possibly a light gray. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. Moderate crazing without discoloration. Colored transfers / decals are intact, with good color and without scratches or erosion. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. No signs of previous repair or restoration. Dimensions: 10-1/8" diameter x 0.75" profile depth. Unpacked weight: average just over 1 lb.
