Description: You are bidding on this Vtg 1940's Hardcover Fifty Fables for Children Wilhelm Hey German Language Child This is a vintage used item, in acceptable used condition, with some signs of age/wear; covers bear rubbing/scuffing, edgewear and associated corner damage, light peeling at corners, wear along/about spine with distress, patterns of discoloration, points of blemish/distress, fading/smudging. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with good preservation of full-color illustrations/vignettes and sharp black typeset in German; light wear/tanning; loose pages in Fables section with visible chipping to edges of exposure. Spine remains straight, with visible shelfwear (top/base), while binding is still intact/secure, but dry, with loose pages.
