Description: FRANKOMA POTTERY SALT & PEPPER SHAKER SETAvailable are a vintage early 1942 set of Frankoma Pottery Ball Jug Pitcher Salt & Pepper Shakers. This hard to find shape referenced as 87H, was produced in 1942 only. Even rarer, is that they are glazed in Onyx Black - Ada clay. They are in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Upon very close inspection, they have a few tiny scratches. The salt has the pour holes in the shape of an S & the pour holes are larger than the pepper - see image. The pepper has the pour holes in the shape of a P - see image. They stand just over 2" tall by 2 7/8" in length (including the handles). Only one retains the cork stopper & they are marked 87H in pencil on their bases (common for early shakers). They would make a wonderful addition to your collection. Purchase with confidence. I am an established eBay member since 1997.
