Description: Offered here is a small metal, die cast toy car. The underside is embossed, "TOOTSIETOY MADE IN U.S.A." NOTE: the color is sort of "candy apple red" - not the standard bright red I've always seen on this car. This leads be to believe that this MAY have been re-painted. It THAT is the case, whoever did the re-paint on this was a TRUE craftsman! The bumpers and headlights must have been masked off, as well as the base of the top "cherry" light. There is no silver paint on the wheels or axles. This seems like a LOT of WORK for such a small, relatively inexpensive, toy car. It measures 4 & 1/4 inches long and is 1 & 1/2 inches wide.
