Description: VTG 1964 AMSCO Walt Disney Presents Winnie the Pooh Toon-A-Vision faces toy This toy has been in my possession since it was purchased about 1965. It was a BELOVED car toy for travels to visit far-flung family. This Walt Disney Presents Winnie-the-Pooh Toon-A-Vision toy was produced in 1964 (MCMLXIV) and features all the Disney Pooh Corner characters printed on the toy graphics and within the toy mechanism. Within the Honey Tree and Pooh Howse are circular cards printed with multiple 1 Faces 2. Eyes 3. Noses 4. Mouths Turn the knobs to “tune in” 38,640 faces (according to signage on the toy). The only original red knob for turning remains on the Mouth Control. I have used metal brads to hold the other cards in place— they do move around but all move imperfectly. While the centers of the cards have damage from where the knobs pulled out, the pictures on the cards remain in good condition. The frame holding the Toon-A-Vision also has some damage: a few bends/tears, names written in pencil, and the back coloring picture has been scribbled by the pre-schooler I was. Colors are still great. Retains its original price sticker from Arlan’s Dept Store of 97 cents. Made by AMSCO Toys, Hatboro, Pa.
