Description: This is a very nice copy of Roots by Alex Haley. Mr. Haley did sign the copy inside of the front cover and wrote a great little inscription to the gentleman he signed the book for. This is not the true first edition of the book (the first edition states as much on the publication info page), but it has to be a very early printing given the DJ and format. As noted, the condition is very nice overall - a bit of wear to the DJ and some fading on the inside, but overall really excellent condition and a great looking signature with a really unique and nice inscription from Mr. Haley.
