Description: Offered is this vintage cardboard candy box covered in flowered gold foil, with a removable lid. The box is empty but originally held 32 oz. of Pangburn's "Golden Gift" milk chocolates. The bottom of the box lists the contents (see last photo). The Pangburn company was headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. It was in business from the early 1900s through 1999 but I don't know how old this box is; judging from the lack of zip code in the company address and the illustrations on the bottom I would guess the 1950s-early 1960s. The box is approx. 11" x 7 3/4" x 2". It is in good condition overall, but does have some surface tears in the foil, with a few small bits missing, wear to the corners, and some light soiling, especially on the inside bottom, as shown.
