Description: Vintage 70s Asian? I think Peasant Workers Heavy Quilted Jumpsuit This piece has always mystified me. I purchased it in a trendy Greenwich Village secondhand clothing store in the late 70s, At the time, Asian workwear fashion was trending and if I remember correctly I was told this jumpsuit was Asian in either style or origin. It is a heavy jumpsuit, quilted and fully lined with a muslin quilting batting. It has two front patch pockets and a hood. The sleeve and leg ends roll to a contrasting blue. Buttons up the front. If I recall, a couple of buttons were missing when I purchased this and I replaced them. It is an interesting piece. If you can help me identify further I would appreciate it. The printing on the tag is faded off It is very warm, I bought it because my apt was always cold back then but I did not wear it often It is a Small - probably unisex but check measurements. This jumpsuit is in good overall vintage condition. It shows wear and I found 1 small hole which I took a pic of.
