This three dimensional amulet pendant measurements- 1 3/4" long, 1 1/2" wide, 1/2" deep, lid is 1 /4" wide, silver dangles at the bottom approximately 1/2" long. The entire piece weighs 31 grams. On inspection, the only imperfection is the right top closes securely, but appears to open without provocation. It could probably be secured by a jeweler or closed permanently if the owner so wished. The ornate pendant (kheikal, heikal) is a 3-dimensional amulet-case, shaped like a pouch. The upper portion opens, revealing a hollow container This pouch can be used for pills, sacred writings, mantras and more. Large oval polished cabochon beads were strategically placed to ward off the evil eye. This case was sturdily made - it does not bend.
