Description: This is a set of four vintage automobile highball glasses by Anchor Hocking with a different Antique Auto design on each glass Circa: 1974 and discontinued. This set also comes with a fabulous Hazel Atlas Classic Cars 1950s cocktail shaker! The heading of "Antique Autos" adorns each glass in different colors of green, orange, teal, and red and the names of each car and year are highlighted with the colors of orange, brown, purple, and blue. This set would be perfect for a history buff, automobile lover, or a great conversation starter with friends enjoying a drink together. The 1902 Packard features a scene where a gentleman dressed in a suit and coat is holding his arms out to a graceful lady outfitted in a elegant dress and hat with a ruffled umbrella at her side. A large Victorian mansion is etched in the background as the Packard has your full attention in the front. The 1906 Autocar features a scene where a lovely lady is standing by the front side of the car dressed in a swimming outfit and shoes that lace up around the ankles and a gentleman dressed in the traditional striped sleeveless one piece swimsuit that covers just below his knees with a round hat on his head. A beach scene is etched in the background of beach umbrellas and people walking on the beach as the Autocar sits waiting on it's passengers to arrive. The 1909 Nash Rambler depicts and Couple standing to the side of the rambler in front of their house. Both are Dressed up for a fun afternoon out. The gentleman is holding his bowler hat and cane, while the lady is wearing an oversize ornate hat and umbrella. The backdrop is set in the countryside in front of their manor (Home) The 1911 Maxwell features a scene where a gentleman is behind the automobile pushing it along as a rooster flocks around his feet. A patient young lady dressed in pleasant attire with her hair tied up in a kerchief waits as he works tirelessly to get the car started. A farm scene is etched in the background of a farmhouse, barn, and horses pulling a buggy. Maybe he should enlist the help of the horses to pull the Maxwell along. This set of highball glasses has 50+ years of history which would lead one to expect minor imperfections from those years of love and use, however, I see no chips or cracks and the design seems to be beautifully intact. Last in this set is a Hazel Atlas cocktail shaker made in the USA from the 1950s-60s. This cocktail shaker is glass with antique cars on it such as 1908 Ford, Hudson 1910, Buick 1910, Studebaker 1915, Stutz 1914, and Chevrolet 1913. The base is made of heavy glass and the lid is made of plastic and is in great used vintage condition! The lid shows some signs of age and use but structurally in working condition! Minor wear from age due to use. See pics for details on this. The Shaker – 4″ w x 6.75″ h, holds 20 oz. This is old-fashioned automotive highball glasses & cocktail shaker set will surely make any car lovers bar complete!
