Description: When I got this cake stand the foot and the plate were attached or glued together. They came apart a year or so ago and I liked it better that way because I could wrap leftover cake in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator and not have to make room for the stand with the base attached. The plate fits perfectly on the stand and does not slide around. That is why it is in two pieces instead of together. In good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or flaws.
