Description: This 20” Stockinette doll from the 1970s-80s is a charming addition to any vintage collection. With blonde hair, blue eyes, she has a sweet, lifelike face painted over a light complexion. Her blue (with pink flowered sash) dress, white undergarments, socks and the doll herself—all of fabric with very high quality stitching. Her hat is smooth straw with a matching pink flower and ribbon around the top. This cloth doll was made “in the manner of” many German artist Stockinette dolls of that time (familiar facial character-feel) and has long, straight, human-like hair with wavy ends. She is in great condition and was probably manufactured between the late 70s and early 80s. This beautiful, slightly uncanny girl is perfect for those who appreciate Stockinette dolls and their unique charm. No tags, no shoes, no original box —but a stamp printed on the side of her neck is an “S.”
