Description: This is a vintage (probably 1970s or 1980s) postcard featuring artwork by Faria titled Naya: La Reine de la Haute Gomme. Printed in France. 4 1/4" x 5 3/4". Candido Aragonez de Faria was a caricaturist, painter, lithographer and poster designer from Brazil who emigrated to France in 1882. Faria designed posters for performers in cafe-chantants and the cinema but also for music scores (lithographies in small and large formats). From the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scarce paper items. Excellent condition. Never used. This will be shipped in an envelope between paperboard sheets as protection; stiffeners may not be used (per USPS regulations) at this shipping rate.
