Description: This is a vintage hinged Lane cedar wood box with original promotional paperwork inside. Interior lid is marked Lane Cedar Chests Alta Vista, VA. Presented by Farmers Furniture, Vidalia, Georgia, a furniture store in Georgia since 1949. From 1925-1984, more than 15 million prospective Lane customers including soon-to-be bride and grooms received these as promotional gifts for Lane cedar chests. It’s approx 9” wide x 4” tall x 3” deep. The wood has very nice striped pattern. No key. Condition: Very good vintage used condition with some scuffs and scratches on front and throughout, commensurate with age and use. Back hinges have some patina. Functional and clean.
