Description: Vtg Duncan Miller Champagne Coupes Glasses 10 First Love Etched 5” 1930s This is a Vintage Set of 10 Duncan Miller Champagne Coupes / Glasses. They are Etched and in the First Love Pattern. This Pattern was introduced in 1935. These glasses are almost Antique. We did place them under a 365-wavelength black light and 9 of them have a Green Manganese Glow; one does not. Manganese was used as a clarifying agent in some Antique Glass; however, it began to be phased out of use around 1915. Based on this fact, it appears that the majority of these glasses were from an early production. One of my pictures shows this glow. (These are not Uranium Glass. They do not glow under a 395-wavelength black light.) The Glasses each measure about 5” tall, 3.75” across the rim and 3” across the base. They hold about 5 oz. The glasses are nearly 90 years old, and they are in Excellent Condition. These would be perfect for the Vintage Glass Collector or for those looking for Vintage Champagne Coupes for an event.
