The designs are history and became the most popular teasers collectible of the era.I admire the fine porcelain art of this Royal Sealy tea cup and saucer and it is certainly fit for royalty and is a very special collectible. How lovely to drink a cup of tea or coffee in this fine teacup. Lovely pink iridescent cup with a unique raised design and Interior of cup has gold fencing, with pink and yellow flowers and leaves. Pedestal cup has heavy gold on the rim and ornate handle. The top and bottom of the cup's pedestal are also gilded. Iridescent pink saucer has a scalloped gold edge, gold stripes and a gold flower motif in center. The saucer hallmark reads “Royal Sealy China” The cup is not hallmarked but does read “Imported For Burdines – JAPAN”.
