Description: Pre-owned in excellent condition. This is a hand painted piece. Abstract illustrated pitcher by Italian ceramicist Giovanni DeSimone. DeSimone opened his studio in Palermo, Sicily after World War II and was heavily influenced by Picasso. Signed. Because these are all hand made and hand painted, they all have artist flaws with some tiny spots or missing glaze or bubbles. This particular piece is in good condition with only studio flaw being a small loss of glaze in the underside which does not impact the function or aesthetic. Visible only if you look for it. See last pic. Bright colors. Approximately 8.25" tall, 5" at its widest point, 4.75" base. Any questions please ask.
