Description: VTG 11.5" hand carved Hopi Crown Dancer Kachina by Leonard Shula Sr. I believe it is from the 1960's. It is carved from one piece of Cottonwood. He is wearing a cape around his shoulders and the eye area is painted black. He is holding green yarn in both hands which is to represent natural greenery. Very nice workmanship. When it first sold, it sold for $180.00. This is in excellent condition and came out of a private collection. It is signed on the bottom.
