Description: Wonderful, vintage, sterling silver overlay pin/pendant handmade by the late (d. 1991) great Hopi artist, Lawrence Pooyouma. Great powerful design that features a central Avanyu (horned water serpent) figure rising between two corn plants. Nice, heavy gauge silver with lightly brushed finish. Signed by the artist and also bears the desirable Hopi Crafts mark. Measures 2 " long and just under 2" wide at the widest width. Pin clasp works fine. Bail for a chain measures approximately 4 mm. Weighs approximately 22.5 grams. Slight scuffs and scratches on silver consistent with age and wear. See all pictures. Please look at pictures carefully as they are an important part of the description. Questions? Please ask before bidding. I am happy to help. No returns. Shipped USPS Ground Advantage.
