Description: This vintage MASON'S PATENT NOV 30TH 1858 aqua half-gallon fruit/canning jar with a zinc cap is in good condition. One side of the jar is embossed with MASON'S PATENT NOV 30TH 1858. Including the zinc cap, the jar is approximately 8 7/8" tall. As expected with vintage jars, there are manufacturing flaws including big closed bubbles in the glass. It has milkglass swirls. There is debris in the neck (shown in photo #11). The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including expected lip roughness, base wear, and surface scratches.
