Description: You are bidding on this Vtg Matchbook Cover Kolb's Restaurant with an Individuality New Orleans Charles This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; the matchbook has had matches removed, striking strip has been trimmed off, there is rubbing to surface of paper, mild edgewear and associated corner wear, faint fading to interior cover with minuscule points of blemish/distress, light wear along/about folds, wear to graphics. Overall paper quality is good; smooth/glossy, with good preservation of color/sheen and typography/graphics still sharp/clear. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The matchbook cover measures approx 1.5" x 4" and contains no matches, which was the acceptable guideline for matchbook collecting up until the 1960's and is part of a collection of over 2300 matchbook covers from the 1930's to the 1970's.
