VTG MAYER CHINA RESTAURANT WARE 'ARLINGTON' SUGAR BOWL & LID #477 SHOYER’S REST.

Description: Description ~ Probably never used; one tiny little round divot on underside of lid; could be a tiny chip, but is smooth and looks more like it was a manufactured imperfection; little signs of scrape marks on bottom foot; beautiful shiny, glossy, immaculate finish w/intact design. This is a Vintage Mayer China Restaurant Ware Sugar Bowl & Creamer in the “ARLINGTON” pattern, made in 1977 in Beaver Falls, Pa. It was made for SHOYER’S Restaurant on Arch St., Philadelphia, Pa. which was open between 1874~1960’s. It features a red design on a pure white body and includes the knobbed lid. Mayer China was made between 1881~1990 in Beaver Falls. Pa. It measures 3.5” in height with the lid on; it is 2 11/16” without the lid on; it is 2.5” deep; it is 4.25” in diameter at the bottom; the top opening is 2 11/16” in diameter; the lid is 2 7/8” diameter at the top. The lid is a bit loose on the bowl.
