Description: VTG Japan Porcelain Hand-Painted Happy Clown Juicer & Teapot Combo. Beautiful, cute & unique vintage Japanese hand-painted porcelain happy clown small teapot with a juicer lid (to squeeze lemon into your tea); two-piece set in good vintage condition. This is adorable and so fun with the non-scary clown hat as the juicer on the lid of the handled teapot! This is nicely hand-painted with a grooved texture. This piece is vintage 50s/60s, pretty old, so it has a few condition issues. There are a couple of hairline cracks, one at the top of the teapot and very tiny, and one the is about 1.5" on the other side of the top. There is no chipping, and the cracks are very hard to see unless you're looking up close. The cracks do go through to the inside, so I don't know if this could be functional as a teapot, but it's a lovely decorative collectible piece. On the clown's shirt (front of the teapot), there is a bit of what looks to be white paint, but it can most-likely be removed. There is also a bit of crazing on the porcelain due to age, but looking at this with the lid on, it looks pretty great! See last 5-6 photos for condition issues. This measures 6" H x 6.5" W.
