Description: For sale is an unusual Antique Vintage Mecco Safety M.E. Cunningham Pittsburgh PA Steel 3/4 lb Die Punch Stamp Inspection Hammer with 13" Wood Handle. This hammer was hard to research. I'm not positive of it's usage. But given that Mecco Safety produced mostly die stamp sets, it's assumed that this was for stamping metalwork. While the nub doesn't seem to want to come out, it appears that it is replaceable with a stamp nub of some sorts. If I'm wrong, please let me know. Pre-owned condition. Shows some signs of wear from use. There is some slight surface corrosion on the exposed metal. No cracks or damage otherwise. Please see photos for more details. Photos are part of the description.
