Description: This mug was acquired from an estate sale of a Retired Lancaster SC School Teacher. While I don’t have a COA, I feel certain the signature is that of Senator Strom Thurmond. The mug is from the Lancaster County 200 year bicentennial Celebration, 1785-1985. Friedman Jewelers advertising on reverse side. Strom Thurman is known for many things one being the longest filibuster of 24 hours 18 minutes by a lone senator. This mug should make a nice addition to someone political collection. I can’t image many of these still exist with the signature in tact.
