Description: Vintage Miniature EAST Germany Wooden Soldiers and Guardhouse [Erzgenbirge?]. These cute little miniatures are a set of 8 plus a guardhouse in the original box. One of the soldiers is missing an arm. He is on the right side in the photos. They appear to be hand painted soldiers by Erzgenbirge from the 1950's but the markings only say, "East Germany". I couldn't find any official information, just what other listings described it as. I found it in a box of my grandmother's things which were mostly from the 1950's. From a smoke free home.
