Description: Very well sewn vintage framed and completed needlepoint of exotic and colorful hot air balloons with gold metallic thread and gold thread embroidered 3-D features. Framed beautifully in wood/linen/gold frame, with inscription on back and date of 1989. Initialed on front "FB" and I assume maker/artwork is from Michigan where needlepoint was framed. Measures approx. 17 x 21 inches including the frame. Actual needlepoint that is visible measures 13.5 x 17.75 inches.Condition is excellent with a small chip out of wood frame at bottom, can be retouched (see final photo). Very beautiful presentation.
