Description: Vintage 1950s/60s patchwork pink elephants salt & pepper shakers. Kitsch stitched elephants measure 2.5" tall x 3" long, one elephant has blue and the other has yellow accents. The blue one is marked JAPAN on the inside front leg, these are most likely made by Napco but there are no stickers left to say so. Elephants have some age/storage wear and could use a cleaning. I see some crazing but no cracks, i can feel a few little bites on the bottom of feet where there was no glaze applied & there are some other areas that the glaze skipped (most notably on the yellow elephant's back leg). Both elephants have their cork stoppers but the blue one's is inside the body. These are super cute and would be great on display in your retro kitchen or would make a nice gift (their trunks are up so that means good luck).
