Description: This vintage Christmas tree from PECO is a stunning addition to any holiday decor. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of Christmas tree history! This Peco model # 27 metal Christmas tree has 108 branches with a 2 piece trunk made with wooden dowels. These were sold during the late 1950s through early 1960s. Each branch comes in its own paper sleeve and are still in very good condition. I counted 109 branches altogether, so there is one spare. The tree comes in its original box with instructions on the back. This was used in my wife's house at Christmastime when she was young and has been stored in an attic for nearly 60 years. The branches are stuck directly into the trunk which has some wear or splintering at some holes, although it doesn't affect the branches and isn't really noticeable once complete (see pictures). Please note that the original stand is lost and the one pictured was only used to allow us to set it up and will not be included. It isn't designed for this type of tree anyway. I advise for the purchaser to have a stand ready before the tree arrives. The trunk measures 1 1/8 inches in diameter to help choose the right one for this application.
