Description: Plastic Sacred Heart of Jesus figurine and shrine. The figurine is approximately 4 1/16” high and the shrine is approximately 6” high, 2 5/8” wide, and 2” wide across the base. “P.L. – M.” and “MADE IN ITALY” are marked on the underside of the base. The age of the statue is unknown, but it appears to be vintage. Estate sale find. A beautiful and devotional piece of Catholic art! The plastic figurine and shrine appear to be in very good used condition with signs of wear and age, such as scratches, scrapes, abrasions, nicks, indentations, spots, stray marks, rub marks, some loss of painted finish, and perhaps some light soiling in the recesses and crevices. There also appears to be dried glue residue where the figurine is attached to the base of the shrine. It’s possible some of these blemishes are a result of the manufacturing and/or molding processes.
