Description: New old stock vintage Whirley Industries salt & pepper dispenser set. Made in Warren, Pennsylvania during the late 1960’s - early 1970’s. These dispensers are made of durable plastic and the color is vibrant pop typical of the time period. Former Alabama governor George Wallace 1972 Democratic presidential primaries campaign promotional item. As most of you know his run for the 1972 elections was abruptly ended when he was shot and paralyzed from the waist down during an assignation attempt at a campaign rally in Maryland. This is a neat nostalgic now novelty item for display or in the kitchen. The dispenser is in great, working condition, and measures length 3 1/8”, width 1 1/4”, height 2 1/2”. Comes in its original box, the box shows some discoloration from setting in storage for 40 years. Everything shows in the pictures. Any questions feel free to ask.
