Description: A good to very good, pre-owned, scrapbook from the Mohawk Valley NY --an interesting historical record of small town life ranging from the early 1900's to the early 1950's. (there are some later items loosely held at the back..) Many of the clippings are of death notices which were a little sensational in tone and also including wedding announcements, church activities and the like. --towns mentioned are Glen (the most mentioned), Fultonville, Lykers Corners, Fort Plain and Fort Hunter. --measures about 11 1/2" by 8 1/2"--covers show slight wear and staining--pages are fragile around the edges with multiple tears and some are loose by the string holding them together I always welcome questions before purchase and would invite you to visit my eBay store.
